TERMS OF TRADE

Goods

The buyer agrees that they are responsible for any duty, tariff, taxes, and expenses associated with importing products purchased from us when shipping internationally. All taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the purchaser; these fees are not included in the shipping costs.

All orders require payment in full prior to production.

All orders shipped within the US are sent via FedEx, USPS, or UPS. All international orders are sent via FedEx, DHL, USPS, and UPS.

Please refer to the item’s production time. Once a made-to-order item is completed, each order’s processing time to ship is within approximately 1-5 business days. 

We cannot guarantee delivery times; however, you should receive your delivery within 7-10 working days from the shipment date within North America.

We ship worldwide and to all international destinations. International delivery times vary between 7 – 21 days depending on your location.

If you would like a shipping time to estimate for your purchase and you are outside of the regular destination countries, please contact us and we will give you a more precise shipping estimate and quote for your destination.

Platform Studio is not responsible for delays caused by customs. Shipping times may exceed the estimate due to factors outside of our control.

Platform Studio takes all necessary precautions to ensure packages are safe for delivery, it is not liable for damage during transit or for non-delivery once the package has been handed over to the shipping provider.

For local courier services, please contact us prior to your purchase for an accurate quote. 

Tracking information will be provided with every order, though the buyer assumes all responsibility once the order has left our premises. Platform Studio is not responsible for a replacement or refund if an item is damaged, lost or stolen during transit (shipping and courier services).

Packages refused by customs and returned to the studio will be subject to our restocking fee of 10% per item, and shipping costs will not be refunded. If a credit card is used to place the refused order, we will also be unable to refund the 2.9% processing fee. The restocking fee contributes to processing orders and providing thoughtful, timely customer service.

Platform Studio does not accept returns or offer exchanges. Once an order is placed, cancellation is permitted within 24 hours of purchase.

All product and invoice prices are initially set in USD (United States Dollar), which is the Studio’s base currency.

Services

We provide concept development, material research, sourcing & curating, and production coordination. Services are tailored to the needs of each project. All scopes and deliverables will be outlined and agreed upon in writing prior to project start

All services require a signed agreement and a non-refundable deposit to begin work. Full payment terms are outlined in each individual service agreement.

Payment schedules for services may vary depending on project size and duration and will be clearly stated in the project proposal. All pricing is in USD.

Service Cancellation, due to the time and planning involved in our service-based work, cancellations are not permitted once a project is underway. In the event of exceptional circumstances, please contact us directly. Deposits are non-refundable.

Platform Studio retains all rights to original concepts, sketches, and designs developed during the design process, unless otherwise negotiated in writing.

We reserve the right to document and share completed work (with respect for privacy and client confidentiality), unless otherwise requested.

Respective client will receive tailored, and detail signed agreement prior to project start.

Shared with: Shopify, payment and shipping providers.

Data: Name, billing and shipping address, payment details (processed securely), email, phone number.


3. Marketing and Newsletter Subscription

Purpose: To send updates, product news, and promotional content, only if you opt in

Source: Provided by you through forms or checkout opt-in

Shared with: Klaviyo (our email service provider).

Data: Name (if provided), email address.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any marketing email or contacting us.

International Transfers
